We’re 3 years old today 🥳 This time three years ago we had no customers, no income, and if we’re being honest, no real idea of how we were going to make it work. 🤣
What we did know was that AI was going to have a big impact and we wanted it to be something that could help improve the delivery of public services.
Today we have over 50 customers and 600 AI assistants in daily use across social care, councils, housing associations, universities, colleges, schools and charities.
We’ve been asked what’s made us successful and we think there are three reasons:
1) We build them to help people do better jobs, not replace them. We build AI assistants to solve specific problems or routine tasks (a social worker checking policy guidance; a housing officer responding to a complaint letter; a college improving the way they teach).
2) Relentless focus on security and accuracy. Everyone knows that free AI tools hoover up your confidential data and hallucinate their answers. We’ve solved both those problems. Your data stays securely in your Microsoft Azure tenant. It never leaves and doesn’t train the open models. And the assistants are trained on your information and don’t deviate from that. And no, you can’t just do it in Copilot.
3) Listening to what people want and need. Often, the AI ‘thing’ they think they need isn’t what they end up using the most. That’s because AI gives people the opportunity to fix broken workflows and and stop wasting time on pointless and tedious work.
